Cat Picture of the Week: Chloe
When I found Chloe (named "Petunia" at the time) on petfinder.com, her picture showed her seemingly scared and cowering in the corner of a cage. I kept going back to her site again and again, debating whether or not it was time to bring a new kitty into our home. Finally I decided to go visit her the day after Christmas of 2008.
When we arrived at the shelter, we knew we weren't leaving without her. The people were unfriendly, the place seemed an unorganized mishmash of papers and leftover lunches...overall very unwelcoming. The people in the adoption room itself were a bit more receptive, but there was no way we were leaving this little cat behind. Chloe was in the back of her cage, just like in her picture.
